Pima Community College Aztec Athletics

The Pima Community College women’s soccer team (4-4-1, 3-4-1 in conference) had trouble finding shots in its 2-0 loss against Mesa Community College on Thursday at the Kino North Grandstand.

The Aztecs managed four shots on goal for the game; two in each half. Goalkeeper Shelby Penrod (Marana Mountain View HS) made some great saves for Pima and finished with seven. Penrod had two saves in the first half and five in the second half.

The Aztecs will try to bounce back on Saturday when they host Scottsdale Community College at the Kino North Grandstand. The game will start at 4:30 p.m.
