Golder Ranch Fire District

As the students return to the classroom, the Golder Ranch Fire District will be returning as well. Each year, personnel from Golder Ranch go into classrooms to present information on a variety of safety topics aimed at students in kindergarten through seventh grade. Our Home Alone program kicks off the school year for the fifth grade classes and arms students with good decision making skills to deal with a variety of issues that may come their way. September finds our personnel in the kindergarten classes teaching the students when and how to access 9-1-1 through the use of interactive props and demonstrations.

While driving your student to and from school, running errands, or commuting to and from work, please remember to not drive distracted. Wait until you arrive at your destination to send a text, take a phone call, or pull over if you need to consult a GPS for directions. These simple steps make our community and roadways a safer place to be, not only for students, but for everyone on the road.

The coming year looks to be a busy one as we continue to roll out new and revamped education programs, maintain our participation at community events, and develop and deploy new service models aimed at providing the public with the highest level of service.
