As I was riding through Oro Valley on a Saturday morning in January, I passed several signs bearing the logo, recall Mike Zinkin. Having followed this witch hunt in the press, I wondered how many of us have ever uttered words we wish we could retrieve. He apologized, did we? And if we don’t want a watchdog to oversee our expenditures and policies, but just another good ole boy, then we get what we deserve, which is a mayor who thinks he can rule with an iron hand and be a dictator. I will not accept the current state of politics in Oro Valley and will support Mike Zinkin, no matter what the outcome.
