The Copper Creek Elementary School community once again took to the field with water guns to kick off the new year with the annual Hawk Walk. Part fundraiser, part school assembly, the event ends with the “Messy Zone,” an opportunity to turn the school principal and a surprise teacher into human sundaes. Principal Kristjan Laumets was joined this year by third grade teacher Madison Tidwell, who also celebrated her birthday.
