Rillito River Regional Park

The Loop shared-use path on the north bank of the Rillito River at Via Entrada Wash will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 27, and will require all users to use a temporary detour around the construction area.

A restroom is being installed along The Loop in the southeast corner of Rillito Regional Park, 4502 N. First Ave.

There may be intermittent closures at this same locale requiring the use of a detour until the restroom installation is complete.

Pima County is constructing a 12-foot-wide paved path about 600 feet long with three 110-foot-long ramadas to shade farmers market shoppers at Rillito Regional Park. Vendors will set up in gravel areas along the paved pathway.

The marketplace is expected to be completed in mid-October.
