Ten-time Grammy Award winner Arturo Sandoval will join the Tucson Symphony Orchestra for a TSO SuperPops program on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 14 at 2 p.m. at Tucson Music Hall.  Music director José Luis Gomez will conduct the world renowned trumpeter in the performances presented as part of the HSL Properties Tucson Jazz Festival.

Sandoval is the recipient of ten Grammy Awards, an Emmy Award for his score for the HBO movie about his life, “For Love or Country”, and six Billboard Awards. He was awarded the 2013 Presidential Medal of Freedom, and in 2016, he received an Honorary Doctorate in Fine Arts from the University of Notre Dame.
