Sarah Sellers, the Banner University Medical Center certified registered nurse anesthetist who finished second in the 2018 Boston Marathon, is the guest speaker at the 26th annual Meeting and Awards Breakfast of the Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce. The event will be held Thursday, July 26, at El Conquistador Tucson, A Hilton Resort, 10000 N. Oracle Road.

In Seller’s honor, recommended attire is business—with running shoes.

The day’s events begin with the chamber’s annual nonprofit fair in the lobby outside El Conquistador’s ballroom space. There, guests can interact with more than 20 Chamber non-profits. The Chamber will also report on itself, recognize outgoing and incoming board members and honor outstanding businesses, individuals and organizations.

This year’s nominees are Tucson Orthopaedic Institute, Outstanding Large Business; OOROO Automotive, Pima Federal Credit Union and Pima Pain Center / Dr. Emil H. Annabi, Outstanding Mid-Size Business; Wendy Wise State Farm, Tucson Coin and Autograph, Trusting Connections Nanny Agency, Oro Valley Smiles, Senior Home Care of Tucson and Which Wich Superior Sandwiches, Outstanding Small Business; Oro Valley Rotary Club, Parkinson Wellness Recovery / PWR!Gym and Amphitheater Public Schools Foundation, Outstanding Non-Profit; and Bob Weede, SAACA, and Barbara McClure, IMPACT of Southern Arizona, Outstanding Community Leader.

The event runs from 6:45 to 9:15 a.m., with a superlative breakfast prepared and served by Chef Jan and the El Conquistador Tucson staff. Tickets are $40 per person. Call the chamber office at 297-2191, or go online to orovalleychamber.com.
