Starting Monday, March 19, new service changes will begin for several Sun Shuttle routes. The Regional Transportation Authority Board recently approved the proposed changes to increase efficiency and improve on-time performance. Current schedules and routes, set to expire March 6, will remain active until the new effective date.
Updated Sun Shuttle brochures are available now at suntran.com/sunshuttle and will be available on the vehicles starting Monday, March 12. Brochures provide passengers current fare information and detailed route schedules. The new schedule information will be effective through August 4.
Oro Valley: Route 401 has discontinued Saturday service due to low ridership over many years. Travel will be redirected along North Oracle Road, no longer serving stops on West Magee Road and Canyon del Oro High School.
Marana: Route 410 has discontinued Saturday service, due to low ridership over many years, and adjusted weekday schedule; Route 411 service has been discontinued due to low ridership over many years; Route 412 has added a new stop to serve the Tucson Premium Outlets and adjusted weekday and weekend schedules. Travel will be redirected west on Linda Vista Boulevard to serve the Tucson Premium Outlets, and will no longer service stops on Tangerine Road and North Thornydale Road; and Route 413 has added a new stop to serve the Tucson Premium Outlets and adjusted weekday and weekend schedules.
