The Marana Chamber of Commerce is proud to be celebrating our 30th anniversary. We are looking forward to advancing our mission as the voice of business that works to build economic growth and quality of life in our community for many years to come.

Marana’s steady growth spurt continued in May with 85 Single Family Housing starts.

To help support the businesses affected by the Ina Road I-10 closure, the Marana chamber and Catalina Brewing Company partnered to throw a successful Ina Road Block Party May 20. Many business owners met for the first time and came up with creative ways to do business with each other.  “Ina Is Open” beer was served.

Groundbreakings from the Tangerine Sky Park on West Tangerine Road to the new Marana Police Department are positive signs of our thriving community.

A new splash park going in at Crossroads Park is sure to be a hit. Starting off Marana Road, the Capital Project Roundabout will be the centerpiece of the newly-aligned Marana Gateway and Main Street off Marana Road.  The New Hampton Inn at the Premium Outlet Mall in Marana is anticipated to start in July.

Winning the Reader’s Choice “Best Chamber of Commerce” for 2016 means a lot to us, as it shows the support we have in our wonderful community. We are up again starting in July, and hope to win your votes again!

Save the date Nov. 4. That’s when the Marana Chamber will host “Marana Earth Festival—Making Sustainability Fun” at Tucson Premium Outlets, at the I-10/Twin Peaks Road interchange. We’ll have fun activities for the kids focusing on sustainability and recycling. We’ll sample some of the world-class food grown here in Marana. We’ll feature businesses who specialize in “green” activities, recycling and energy conservation. And we’ll do a full-blown recycling drive where you can shred paper, get rid of old electronics and other hard-to-dispose of items. Check for details as the date approaches.

Remember, Ina Road is open for business. Please remember our Ina Road businesses for your shopping and service needs.

We would like to encourage all our neighbors to help support all the new businesses by attending our many grand openings and ribbon cuttings at and daily deals offered on

The Marana Chamber would like to welcome our new members, Arizona Greyhound Rescue, Block Advisors, Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa, E Z Automotive, Cheryl A Schaar, Excelsior Real Estate, Williams & Associates, Arizona Lotus Corporation and HealthSouth-Rehabilitation Hospital of Southern Arizona.

Thanks to our renewing members for providing the foundation that makes our community great! Remember, you can save money by investing back into your community by shopping locally, driving less and saving time.

I'd be interested to finding out what's going on in the business sector here and perhaps my storage business will be able to help out some of the other companies too? It's really quite good to get the companies partnering with each other. Coordination and cooperation will definitely help all the businesses to leverage their strengths on each other.
