Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat

Broadway In Tucson is collaborating with UA Presents to bring Broadway’s best to Tucson. Three upcoming shows will allow UA Presents to brings “its own taste of Broadway this season.”

A Sondheim Evening takes place December 5 at Crowder Hall on the campus of the University of Arizona.

Ted Sperling, Betsy Wolfe, and Clarke Thorell bring Broadway to the small stage in an intimate evening of your favorite songs by Stephen Sondheim, "the greatest and perhaps best-known artist in the American musical theater" (New York Times).

February 15 will feature “Sequence 8”, by Montreal based contemporary cricus troupe Les 7 Doigts de la Main.

From January 7-11 catch Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. One of the most enduring shows of all time, Tim Rice & Andrew Lloyd Webber’s JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT is the irresistible family musical about the trials and triumphs of Joseph, Israel’s favorite son.  This new production will feature Broadway/television star Diana DeGarmo (Hairspray, Hair) as The Narrator and Broadway star Ace Young (Grease, Hair) as Joseph.

Retelling the Biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colors, this magical musical is full of unforgettable songs including Those Canaan Days, Any Dream Will Do and Close Every Door. 

See more breathtaking feats by Gypsy Snider and Les 7 doigts de la main, creators of the circus acrobatics in the revival of PIPPIN- currently on Broadway and winner of four 2013 Tony Awards.

On March 15 catch a performance by singer Audra McDonald. Winner of a record six Tony Awards (not to mention two Grammys), Audra McDonald was most recently honored for her portrayal of Billie Holiday in Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill.
