Join us for a poetry reading and book-signing event April 30 with author and PCC writing instructor Kristen Hoggatt at Pima Community College’s Northwest Campus.

Hoggatt’s new book of poetry, published by Finishing Line Press, is titled Arab Winter.

“We are fortunate and delighted to have so many accomplished people working at Pima Community College, and this is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the talents of a great young local poet and writing instructor,” said Northwest Campus Academic Dean John Gillis.

Hoggatt has been an adjunct faculty member in Pima’s Writing Department since 2012. She was born and raised in southern Arizona. She earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of Arizona and received her Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Emerson College, Boston. Her poems have been published in journals and poetry reviews.
