As election-night results continue to come in, it appears GOP candidate Doug Ducey move on to face Democrat Fred Duvall in the General Election.

The Associated press called the race early.

Ducey started Cold Stone Creamery in Arizona before selling the company in 2007 and getting into politics. Ducey has served as the state's treasurer for the last four years.

Arizona will have a new governor this year with Gov. Jan Brewer terming out of office
