Two Picture Rocks non-profit organizations honored the volunteers that keep them strong by serving them lunch at the community park on May 18.   Pizza, salad and wings were donated by BJ’s Restaurant, located at 4720 N. Oracle Road.

Sub sandwiches were also donated by the Picture Rocks Community Center Inc.’s board of directors. The tables were decorated by Anna’s Party Décor with flowers provided by Karla and Anna Garcia.

Picture Rocks Neighbors Helping Neighbors (PRNHN), Program Coordinator Mary Salgado handed out certificates to Barbra Robertson, Maria Minichiello-Pistone, Tim Dunn, Lee Thorn, Alberto Ruiz Moreno, Dot Esler, Jan Lizotte, Jimmy Jones, Brisa Almazan, Diane Stokan, Vivian Matsler, Patricia Schwartz, Vanessa Johnson, Jacqueline Hale, Pam Moseley, Robert Silvain, Paul Flemm, Vicki Flemm, Laura Ratliff, Matt Bruner and Carol Owens.   

Matt Bruner was awarded a special certificate with a $25 gift card for his outstanding service to the community.

Picture Rocks Community Center Inc. (PRCCI) CEO Jason Brown handed out certificates to Rupert Roybal, Rebecca Melendez, Stephanie Roberts, Jimmy Jones, Keith Holland and Sue Ybarra.  

Patricia Schwartz was awarded a special certificate with a $25 gift card for her dedicated service at the PRCCI office.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors is assisting 70 neighbors with transportation, light housekeeping, calls and connection.
