Each year dogs suffer from gastric dilation-volvulus (GDV) or better known as bloating. It is when the stomach twists and cuts off blood supply that would normally flow through the rest of the dog's body. It is a disease that needs to be immediately treated as it can permanently damage a dogs body.

Dr. Rozanski, researcher from Tufts University, will be giving a free public webinar on Aug. 21 from 11 to 11:30 a.m. She will give detailed information as to what the disease is, the effects and her new findings. Her research is funded by Morris Animal Foundation, a foundation that focuses on researching ways to improve animals health.
