Fresh off a successful run at the Alliance Performance Center of Tucson (APCOT), the Roadrunner Theatre Company is partnering with The Gaslight Music Hall to stage the musical comedy “I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change” later this month.

“We’re extremely excited to be partnering with Roadrunner Theatre Company to mount the first of what we hope will be many collaborations with area performing arts organizations,” said music hall producer and artistic director Robert Shaw.

Set in two acts, the four-actor performance will weave in and out of the various intricacies of love, from dating through marriage.

Written by Joe DiPietro and with music by Jimmy Roberts, “I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change” is one of the longest running Off Broadway musicals and has made appearances through different companies throughout the world.

“It touches on so many aspects of people’s lives,” said Jose "Chach" Snook, who directs and stars in the Roadrunner performance. “So many people can see themselves in each of these characters and it’s why it’s so easy to laugh at – you can just relate so much”

Cach will perform the musical alongside his wife Jodi Darling, Kelli Workman and Tyler Wright with support from musical director Geoff Gale and violinist Callie Hutchinson.

The show will run on the following dates and times:

  • Thursday, Sept. 22, 7PM
  • Sunday, Sept. 25, 3PM
  • Sunday, Sept. 25, 6:30PM
  • Thursday, Sept. 29, 7PM
