Matt Clark then hit a game-tying, three-run home run over the center field fence, his 12th home run of the season and first since June 7. Sawyer Carroll's RBI single in the fifth gave the Padres the lead and Gyorko's RBI double one inning later added an insurance run. Gyorko went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and is 7-for-10 with seven RBIs over his last two games.

Hamren has three saves during the Padres current four-game winning streak, their longest winning streak of the season. Padres starter Matt Palmer allowed four runs, three earned, in 4.2 innings of work.
