Baltimore Orioles catcher Matt Wieters is one of the best players the organization has had in quite some time. Possessing the type of power that teams drool over at the catcher’s position, on June 29, 2012, Wieters jacked a ball so far that it actually left Camden Yards altogether.

In what is usually a really cool tradition for the organization, the Orioles set little baseball-sized plaques wherever a ball lands if it is hit onto Eutaw Street — in between the stadium itself and the iconic warehouse beyond the right field fence.

However, that little plaque has a big mistake and in the worst possible spot. Instead of proclaiming Matt Wieters’ hit, the plaque celebrates the exploits of one Matt Weiters.

Who?

Just remember, children, it’s “I before E except after C.”
