A developmental football camp for future high school football players is being held July 12-15 at Mountain View High School.

Justin Argraves, the new head football coach at Mountain View, plans the camp for youngsters in grades 5-9. All positions are covered, including quarterback, running back, receiver, linebacker, offensive and defensive line and linebackers.

Emphasis of the camp is skill development, rather than conditioning. It stresses "skill development, character, teamwork and proper attitude," Argraves said. Members of Argraves' staff as well as varsity Mountain Lions are providing instruction.

Camp dates are Monday-Thursday, July 12-15, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. each night at the MVHS football stadium.

Cost of the camp is $65, which includes a camp T-shirt.

Registrations with medical releases and parental signatures may be sent to Argraves at Box 90565, Tucson, 85752. Checks are payable to the Mountain Lion Football Booster Club.

Registration opens at 4:30 p.m. Monday, July 12. Argraves may be reached at 248-8875.
