The Lady Aztecs softball team swept a doubleheader at El Paso Community College. Alexis Dotson went on a tear on offense going 7 for 9 with 6 RBIs, 2 runs, 2 stolen bases and 2 doubles on the day. Celina Martinez picked up a win and a save pitching 6 2/3 innings in 2 appearances giving up no runs. Pima now 16-19 overall.

The Lady Aztecs won the 1st game 11-6. Valerie Luer and Taylor Fabing hit back-to-back homeruns as part of a 4-run 5th inning. Martinez (4-9) picked up the win pitching 4 1/3 innings in relief with two strikeouts. Dotson was 3 for 4 with 2 RBIs and a run scored. 

The Lady Aztecs won the 2nd game 13-5. Dotson hit a 2 RBI doubles in the 2nd and 3rd innings and she hit a 2-run RBI single in the 6th finishing 4 for 5 with 4 RBIs, a run scored and 2 doubles. Luera went 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs, 2 runs scored and a triple. Stacey Ramirez finished 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Briana Urquidez (3-3) picked up the win and Martinez got the save.

The Aztecs baseball team earned a split at Glendale Community College. The Aztecs produced two quality starts by their starting pitchers for both games. Pima is now 22-15 overall and 11-8 in ACCAC conference play.

The Aztecs lost the 1st game 2-0. Chris Kucko (2-6) pitched 6 innings giving up 2 runs (2 earned) on 6 hits with 6 strikeouts and no walks on 82 pitches. He gave up the 2 runs in the 1st inning. The offense managed 3 hits for the game.

Ben Skuro (2-0) picked up the win in the 2nd game as the Aztecs won 4-2. Skuro pitched 5 1/3 innings giving up 1 run (1 earned) on 4 hits with 3 strikeouts and 2 walks. James Lynch hit an RBI double in the 4th inning and scored a run in the 3rd inning finishing 4 for 5. Steven Still and A.J. Acosta also had RBIs in the game.
