The Pima Community College women’s tennis team (10-3, 3-1 in conference) won its sixth straight match after defeating Paradise Valley Community College 9-0 on Tuesday in Phoenix.

Helen Altieri (Kofa HS) and Kari Emery (Flowing Wells HS) won their No.1 doubles match 8-0. Altieri went on to win her No. 1 singles match 6-0, 6-0. Torie Wake (Lone Peak HS) won her No. 3 singles match 6-1, 6-1.

The Aztecs, ranked No. 7 in the national poll, will host No. 6 Eastern Arizona College on Thursday at the Tucson Racquet Club. The match begins at 1:30 p.m.
