San Diego made it interesting, but unlike last year, the Denver Broncos held up in the end, defeating the Chargers 24-17 to earn a ticket to the AFC Championships next Sunday.

The Broncos have an uphill battle to the super bowl, however, as they will face the New England Patriots. The patriots have been in the playoffs eight of the last 14 seasons, winning three super bowls and losing two in the process.

The Patriots advanced in the playoffs after a dominating performance over Andrew Luck and the Colts Saturday night.

For the Broncos, they do have a slight advantage, they will hos the Patriots.

In the NFC, familiar opponents will be facing each other for the chance to go to the super bowl. There is no love lost between the divisional opponents as rivals San Francisco and the Seahawks are slated for a big showdown in Seattle.

Seattle earned a ticket to the NFC championship game next Sunday by defeating a tough New Orleans Saints team, while the 49ers sought revenge, and got it Sunday, defeating Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers.

Now, the question of the day is, who will be headed to the biggest stage of all in the NFL?

Stay tuned to find out some of the best places in the Northwest to watch the big games.
