The Pima Community College Track & Field teams concluded competition in the Paradise Valley Community College Indoor Invitational on Monday as Jarell Betton (Lake Washington HS) moved up a spot in the Men’s Heptathlon.

Betton, who was in fourth place when competition stopped on Saturday, finished in third place. He took second in the High Jump with a jump of 6-feet, 1.5 inches. He took fourth place in the 1000 meters race with a time of 3 minutes, 10 seconds. In the 60 meter race Betton’s time was 9.20.

On Saturday, he took second place in the Shot Put with a throw of 37’11.25.”

The Aztecs will host the Aztec Indoor Invitational on Saturday at the West Campus. Competition was begins at 11 a.m.
