The Pima Community College men’s golf team finished one stroke ahead of Scottsdale Community College (590) to secure second place (589) on Tuesday at the Legacy Golf Course in Laveen. South Mountain took first place with a team score of 573.

After finishing with an 80 in the first round, Joe Courtney responded by shooting a 1-under par 70 on the day finishing with a two-day total of 150. Henry Cunningham, who hit a hole-in-one on Monday, finished the tournament with a score of 146 (72-74) while Tyler Cooper closed out the tournament with a 144 (69-75).

The Aztecs will travel to the Sun City South Golf Course in Sun City for its next tournament hosted by Glendale Community College on Mar. 4-5.
