The men’s soccer team (9-4-2) scored two goals in the second half to beat GateWay Community College 2-0 on Saturday at the West Campus’ Aztecs Field. Pima is on a 4-game winning streak.

The score was tied at zero after the first half and the Aztecs got on the board after Kyle Cornell (Canyon del Oro HS) used a header to score the goal in the 64th minute. Declan Fulton (Buena HS) put the ball in play from the corner. Fulton scored the second goal for the Aztecs off a penalty kick in the 71st.

Tyler Wilson (Buena HS) had two saves for the game as the Pima defense held GateWay to just two shots at the goal for the game.

The Aztecs will be back at Aztecs Field on Tuesday when they host Paradise Valley Community College at 1 p.m.
