A freshman beat out upperclassmen last week to win the MountainView Collegiate Women’s Golf Tournament played in SaddleBrooke. Freshman Emily Tubert with the University of Arkansas finished first out of 92 golfers. She ended her three rounds of golf nine strokes under par. In second place was Prima Thammaraks from Iowa State, who finished four under. In third place was Brianna Espinoza from Colorado State, who finished two under.

In the team competition, Iowa State finished first with seven strokes under par, followed by Oklahoma in second at one under and the University of Arkansas in third with even par.

The competition took place March 25-26 at the Par 72 MountainView Golf Course.
