Former CDO standout Ian Kinsler appeared in Tuesday Night’s Major League All-Star game, which his American League squad won 5-3.

Kinsler pinch hit for Houston’s Jose Altuve. He struck out with a runner in scoring position. It was his lone at bat of the game.

It was Kinsler’s fourth All-Star appearance, but his first with the Detroit Tigers. He spent his first eight seasons with the Texas Rangers. He was traded to Detroit this offseason for Prince Fielder.

Kinsler is batting .303 this season, with 11 home runs and 51 RBI’s.
