Logan France and Jaime Waltimire, both junior golfers from Canyon Del Oro High School, have been selected to play on Arizona’s four-person team during the 39th Annual Junior America’s Cup.

The team was selected by the Phoenix-based Junior Golf Association of Arizona. Juniors earned points for high finishes in a series of qualifying tournaments. Junior America’s Cup is a competition between 18 teams from three countries; it will be held July 27-29 at Hiwan Golf Club in Evergreen, Colo.

Representing the United States are teams from Tucson and Phoenix, Arizona; San Diego, Northern California and Southern California; Colorado and Northern Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Mexico, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. Representing Canada are teams from Alberta and British Columbia.

In addition to Logan and Jaime, the Arizona team includes Dylan Kornberg, a recent graduate of Catalina Foothills High School, and Blake Toolan from Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix.
