University of Arizona football saw six of its current and former student-athletes, including a former CDO standout, earn undergraduate degrees during the University’s spring commencement ceremonies in May.
Redshirt senior safety Jared Tevis earned his degree in finance and his pursuing a master’s from UA’s Eller College of Management. Tevis is a former Canyon Del Oro graduate who began his Wildcat career as a walk-on, but earned a scholarship two years ago.
Tevis has 22 career starts in 34 career games played. He’s collected 177 career tackles with seven forced fumbles and three interceptions.
Joining Tevis in earning degrees are two current Wildcats and three who concluded their careers this past December.
Redshirt senior offensive lineman Fabbians Ebbele earned his degree in economy and industry. He returns to a veteran offensive line with a combined 104 career starts, including 37 of his own. In 2013, he started 12 of 13 games at right tackle.
Redshirt senior defensive lineman Dan Pettinato earned his degree in sports and society. He returns for 2014 with 61 career tackles in 33 career games played.
From the 2013 senior class, offensive lineman Chris Putton (regional development), kicker Jake Smith (economics) and snapper Brian Chacon (engineering management) also earned their degrees.
