Golder Ranch Fire District

For over 35 years, the Golder Ranch Fire District has been proudly providing fire and emergency medical services to the communities of Oro Valley, Catalina, and SaddleBrooke. Operating from seven fire stations, the men and women of Golder Ranch Fire stand ready to respond 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  But we are much more than a fire department.

Golder Ranch Fire offers a variety of educational opportunities in CPR and First Aid, as well as using fire extinguishers, medication safety, and eliminating trip hazards in the home.  For the younger residents of our fire district, we deliver fire safety and injury prevention programs from kindergarten through seventh grade.

Recruitment for new members of Explorer Post 216 is underway.  The Explorer Post provides an opportunity for young men and women, aged 15 – 20 years, the opportunity to experience what a career in the fire service and public has to offer.  Golder Ranch will be hosting an open house about the Explorer Program at our Training Building on May 1st at 6:00 p.m.  The application period closes May 10th at 5:00 p.m.  For more information, please visit www.grfdaz.gov/explorers.
