You may never fight a fire or splint a broken bone, but being a Golder Ranch Fire District Fire Corp Volunteer may be the best, most exciting non-paid job you ever had.
Golder Ranch Fire District is growing at a fast pace and the demand for quality Public Education programs and Community Resource advocates is putting a greater and greater demand on the services we provide. Golder Ranch Fire District is seeking the assistance of community residents, 18 years old and up, who would like to help the fire district make a difference with its community outreach programs and other related efforts.
District Volunteers help the District in a variety of ways such as with school programs, the Residential Lock Box program, Smoke Alarm program, clerical work in our Human Resources Department, Finance Department and as the District’s receptionist. We are looking to create other areas and programs where Volunteers will be needed like the CAT (Community Assistance Team) program where volunteers will assist on-scene crews when there is a house fire or other disaster by providing resources to homeowners that will help them get back on their feet.
Wouldn’t you like to be a part of this exciting opportunity and help your neighbors when they need you most?
