Catalina Community Services

The Freedom Alert and Guardian Alert 911 pendants from LogicMark are now available through Catalina Community Services. Because you are speaking through your pendant, Freedom Alert allows you to communicate from every corner of your home, outside in the yard and in the driveway.

You can have four contacts to call anytime and personalize them + 911. Freedom Alert can also contact a 911 emergency operator as a backup in case you cannot reach family member or neighbor. So, you’re protected 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Traveling? No problem. Just unplug your unit from the phone jack and toss it in your suitcase. When you get to your destination, simply plug it into the local phone jack. No additional programming necessary. And if you call 911, they will have the local “Caller ID” of that location.

The pendant can be carried in three convenient ways: included with each system is a lanyard, a wrist strap/wheelchair holder and a belt clip. And, multiple pendants can be set to work with one system – great for couples or assisted living situations.

Proceeds from the Freedom Alert and Guardian Alert benefit the Catalina Community Services Senior Program, which includes a Senior Center located at 16701 N. Oracle Road.

In April CCS served 221 lunches and delivered 1246 meals to area homebound residents. They receive that day’s hot meal plus a frozen meal for the next day. Other services include transportation to medical appointments, community workshops, and resources and referrals.
