It seems as if the public cares very little about foreign policy and are more concerned about what happens on reality TV than our own national security. We see the pictures of the North Korean dictator entertaining Dennis Rodman and fail to comprehend that this young man has a lot of deadly weapons under his control. We have 35,000 troops sitting between his border and Seoul, South Korea - a distance of 25 miles. For the past few years we’ve debated the value and the cost of our military assets, but right now we should be grateful that we have the magnificent forces we have and that we are equipping them with the latest technology such as the F-35 fighter jet. The maniacal Kim Jong Un may cause all kinds of disasters, and we will be ready to defend our own soldiers and our allies.
