We have had to call on the Golder Ranch Fire Department many times over the 27 years we have lived in Oro Valley, and most recently this weekend at the ghastly hour of 2 a.m. As always they responded so quickly it made our heads spin and were so kind and thoughtful you’d never have known it was such a cruddy time of night/morning. They are an amazingly well trained group of firemen and should get high marks and public commendation for all they do. Both my husband and I have received nothing but kind, thoughtful, professional treatment any time we’ve had to call on them. In this time of social incivility it is wonderful to have a group of young men with such class taking care of us at the most vulnerable time in our lives. We are endlessly grateful to them.
