Wonder if I am the only one who finds that Oro Valley’s town employees who receive 100 percent paid medical insurance as well as 80 percent for their dependents, will now have the benefit of an on-site health clinic.

This clinic will be free with no co-pays or fees and only available for the town’s employees and their dependents. It now seems like all government entities (from the federal government and now down to a city) can vote themselves special benefits using constituents tax dollars and, with more benefits, will mean more tax dollars will be required.

Frankly, I am tired of a government, which votes in very plush benefits for the “chosen”, and portrays an elitist attitude because it considers itself too important to wait for a doctor’s appointment like the rest of us.
