This is in response to Mr. Mulleneauk’s letter. Seems he has the facts messed up for both cases. Motta was far from a frightened young man, but a former military man who was thrown out, and now has turned into a cold-blooded killer. Motta caught up to the victim, Josh, and fired his shots from behind, at a young couple who were unarmed and going to dinner. So he is also a coward.
The Explorer did a great job with its coverage, and was one of the only media outlets in Tucson to cover the whole story. Cheers for them and shame on the Star. If the victim was Mr. Mulleneaux’s child, maybe he would be thinking this story was not sensationalized enough. That jury just gave out a license to kill, and all you have to say is: “I was scared.” So shame on the jury also.
