After four bodies were found in the burned down home of tennis star James Blake, police are now investigating whether the incident was the result of a murder-suicide.

Blake had been leasing the Florida home to the Campbell family, which had gone unaccounted for and have since been identified.

Blake was living in Connecticut at the time.

Two of the bodies were found with upper body trauma, and police say the likely cause of the fire was commercial fireworks.

Florida police are investigating whether one of the four people who died in a burning mansion owned by tennis star James Blake intentionally torched the home as part of a murder-suicide.

The mysterious deaths have stunned Tampa’s exclusive country club community of Avila, where sheriff's deputies returned Thursday morning. Gruesome details in the Wednesday morning inferno revealed that firefighters found fireworks and accelerant amid the rubble, reported NBC affiliate WFLA.

Officials were waiting to positively identify the remains of two adults and two teenagers discovered in the home, although Blake wasn’t there at the time. A spokeswoman for the former tennis pro — ranked fourth on the ATP world tour in 2006 — confirmed that he has been living in Connecticut.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said Blake was leasing the home for the past two years to a Campbell family, who were unaccounted for Wednesday. Voter registration records identified them as Darrin Campbell and his wife, Kimberly.

“We’re still going to have to wait for the medical examiner to determine the exact cause of death and what those particular injuries were,” sheriff’s Col. Donna Lusczynski told reporters.
