Fox Sports:

Clippers owner Donald Sterling has agreed to allow his wife, Shelly, to negotiate forced sale of team, according to multiple reports.

The NBA has yet to agree to the terms of this agreement between the Sterlings, but she will need to sell all shares of the team for them to consider it, ESPN reports.

If she's willing to sell all of the shares, it would expedite the process of removing the Sterlings from the NBA, ESPN reports.

Donald Sterling made this decision because he knew as long as he remained in control, the NBA would order a forced sale of the team, TMZ reports.
