This resolution, which goes against the religious convictions of many church sponsors of BSA troops, will cause an exodus of scouts and their families. The homosexual groups and their supporters who initiated this resolution based on a vote of 1400 representatives have brought about a negative result for the future of scouting. The opinion piece in support of this resolution by the New York Times is replete with anti-Christian bigotry and evidence of the blatant disrespect towards those with values opposed to deviancy and homosexual behavior in the scouts. The Times reflects the intolerance of liberals and homosexual activists who insist on promoting perversion among youth. The entire episode is troubling. I for one would never again give a dime to support scouting, since it is now a social outlet for the advancement of degenerates.
