MSN News:

The parents of journalist James Foley, who was slain by Islamic militants on video just days ago, said they were hopeful they could negotiate with his captors after receiving an email from them.

Foley was kidnapped in 2012 in Syria, and his captors demanded over $132 million from his parents and political concessions.
