End of an era in OV

Explorer File photo, Outgoing Oro Valley Mayor Paul Loomis was first elected in 1998. During his time as mayor, the town grew from about 20,000 people to more than 40,000 today. Loomis was the first popularly elected mayor of Oro Valley. Previous mayors had been selected among council members.
