Randy Metcalf/The Explorer, Ten-year-old Hannah Rose McNulty and Shiloh Walkosak lit a candle at a small memorial along Shannon Road last Thursday while the funeral for Christina-Taylor Green took place nearby. It was their gesture of hope and respect for Christina, 9, who was one of six people killed when a gunman opened fired Jan. 8 during a community gathering hosted by U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords in a shopping center at Ina and Oracle roads. Fourteen other people were injured, including the congresswoman, who remains hospitalized.
