Ranch has a trove of historic photos
Randy Metcalf/The Explorer, Among the Arizona Historical Society's more than 4,000 feet of climate-controlled shelf space is a collection of photographs from Steam Pump Ranch. The museum also boasts 50,000 books, 6,000 maps and the only complete collection of the state's territorial newspapers, including copies of "The Weekly Arizonan" dating back to 1859.
