Oktoberfest comes to the Santa Catalina Catholic Church this Friday, Oct. 29, with food, music, dancing, games and more.

Oktoberfest runs from 2 p.m. on Friday at the church, located at 14180 N. Oracle between Oro Valley and Catalina.

There's a big tent set up.

Beneath it, guests can find bratwurst, German-style potato salad and sauerkraut, hot dogs, hamburgers and Mexican food. Bands are entertaining; dancing is encouraged. There are games for adults and children, and drawings for prizes.

Tickets are $5 each, and available at the door. Proceeds benefit youth education programs at the church.

The Rev. Father Peter Connolly leads the Santa Catalina Catholic Church parish. For information on Oktoberfest, call the church at 825-9611.
