Eleven early-voting sites are open around Pima County ahead of the Sept. 2 primary election, according to a release from Pima County Recorder F. Ann Rodriguez.

In the Northwest, the early voting site is the Northwest YMCA, 7770 N. Shannon Road, north of Ina Road between Thornydale Road and La Cholla Boulevard. A modular unit for voting is located in the parking area.

The site is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and this Saturday, Aug. 30, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“We are even opening up most of our satellite voting locations on Saturday, Aug. 30, for the convenience of those voters who many not be able to vote early during the week,” Rodriguez said. “Our goal in the recorder’s office is to make voting early as easy and accessible as possible, for every voter in Pima County.”

Emergency voting is available on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the recorder’s main office, 115 N. Church Ave., downtown in the historic courthouse, a pink building with a green-tiled dome.

On Primary Election Day, Tuesday, Sept. 2, polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The General Election is Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
