The Town of Oro Valley is accepting applications from local residents to serve on the Art Review Commission, a committee that studies and approves public art submissions required for all commercial development in Oro Valley.

Volunteers serve a two-year term, and must be residents of Oro Valley, a release said. The seven-member panel meets the first Tuesday of the month at 4 p.m. at Town Hall.

Applications for the Public Art Review Committee are available from the Oro Valley Town Center at 11000 N. La Cañada Drive, or at the Town Clerk’s Web site at http://www.townoforovalley.com/TownClerk/oro_valley_citizen_volunteer_app.htm"> www.townoforovalley.com/TownClerk/oro_valley_citizen_volunteer_app.htm.

The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, Oct. 31.
