Two campuses of Pima Community College, ITT Tech and the University of Arizona are participating in the 13th annual College Goal Sunday this Sunday, Feb. 8.

Pima’s Desert Vista and Downtown campuses, ITT Tech at 1455 W. River Road and the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering Building at the UA are host sites. All sites are open from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday; ITT Tech also has Saturday hours, again from 2 to 4 p.m. Additional information and resources may be found by going to the Arizona College Goal Sunday Web site www.collegegoalsunday.com.

College Goal Sunday is intended to assist high school seniors, families, and returning adults enrolling in college for the 2009-10 academic year to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, a release said. FAFSA is “the first critical step in applying for federal/state grants, loans and scholarships, a release said.

Across the state, more than 300 Arizona financial aid professionals volunteer to assist students and families with questions they may have about the FAFSA form, or questions regarding the financial aid process.

The event is hosted by the Arizona Commission for Postsecondary Education.
