Westbound I-10

From 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly through Thursday, July 1, westbound I-10 from milepost 219 to milepost 212 is scheduled for left lane closures as pavement work continues. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times.

 

Eastbound I-10

From 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly from Sunday, June 27, through Thursday, July 1, eastbound I-10 from milepost 212 to milepost 219 is scheduled for left-lane closures as crews remove barrier walls. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times.

There will be no construction Monday, July 5, in observance of the July Fourth holiday. Construction will resume at 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 6.

This project is in a high dust area, and motorists are advised to use caution when visibility is reduced and obey all posted signs while driving through the construction zone.

 

Twin Peaks Road, Silverbell Road

During the week of June 28, construction crews continue work such as traffic signal installation and pavement striping along Twin Peaks Road and Silverbell Road from Cortaro Road to Twin Peaks. Minor lane closures will be necessary to complete the work.

To minimize impacts to the public, crews are working two shifts Monday through Friday; day shifts will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., night shifts from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Marana Police Department officers will be on site to direct traffic when necessary. During these activities, motorists are asked to be aware of cyclists and share the road.
