Time is running out for those who have yet to register to vote for the Nov. 4 general election.

The cut-off for registration is set for midnight on Monday, Oct. 6, according to a release from the Pima County Recorder’s office. That leaves just 20 days for would-be voters to get their names on the county rolls.

If you are unsure of your registration status, then call the Recorder’s office at 740-4330 to confirm.

Forms may be obtained at the Pima County Recorder’s office, any Arizona Department of Motor Vehicles branch, all post offices and libraries, political party headquarters and city/town halls.

Voters also can log onto the Recorder’s office Web site at www.recorder.pima.gov and download a form to complete and mail in, or click the link called “EZVOTER” for the online Motor Vehicle Division voter registration system.

The Recorder’s office also will accept vote-by-mail ballot requests for the Nov. 4 election, and will continue to do so until the 5 p.m. deadline on Friday, Oct. 24.

Voters who are either signed up for the Permanent Early Voting List or have already ordered their early ballot will automatically receive their general election ballots.

Ballots for the general election will be mailed, beginning Oct. 2.
