Three experts in the field of dance have been selected to judge “Dancing with the Stars,” this Saturday’s gala fund-raiser for the Northern Pima County Chamber of Commerce.

The judges are:

• Jeannie Tucker, a Florida native who began acting and dancing in the entertainment industry, both in the U.S. and abroad, at age 4.

She now travels as a coach and competitor.

• Ron Montez, the seven-time undefeated U.S. Professional Latin Champion.

He is recognized as coach and choreographer in both American and international styles of dance, including swing and mambo. Ron is the co-host of the PBS Championship Ballroom Dance Program.

• Christine Daughenbaugh, a dance professional and instructor for more than 20 years.

With her former husband and dance partner she conceived, opened and built Arizona Ballroom Company, one of the largest studios in Arizona.

She currently choreographs and coaches professionals at American Dance.

Contestants are Suzy Baxter of Where Guestbook; Ken Blanchard, a past NPCCC chairman from Edward Jones; Gregg Forszt, the current NPCCC chairman from Ventana Medical; Bonnie Kampa of Interfaith Community Services; Mary Snider, from Long Realty; and Paul Kappelman, immediate past president and CEO of Northwest Medical Center.

Elizabeth Keys, owner of American Dance, is providing dance instruction as well as instructors and dance partners for the contestants on the night of the event.

Dancing with the Stars is Saturday at the Hilton Tucson El Conquistador Golf and Tennis Resort, 10000 N. Oracle Road.
