A group of Texans supporting the Arizona immigration enforcement law is stopping in Tucson on the way to Phoenix.

The "God Bless Arizona Tour" represents Texans' solidarity with Arizona's new law, organizers say.

About 100 people from Houston plan to travel to Tucson, where they will meet with a group of Arizona state legislators, including District 26 Republican Rep. Vic Williams.

The tour is the brainchild of Houston area talk radio host Michael Berry, who has highlighted Arizona businesses on his radio show and website.

He and other organizers intend to meet with Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer and Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

In addition, the group intends to support Arizona business through a "buycotting" campaign.

The tour also plans stops in Tombstone, Phoenix, Sedona, and the Grand Canyon, according a release.

Participants are invited to meet the God Bless Arizona tour on Friday, July 2, at 1:30 p.m. at Town Place Suites by Marriott, Tucson International Airport, 6595 S. Bay Colony Drive.
